Are you currently on Workman’s Comp and looking for another form of pain relief? Chill and Heal Cryotherapy Spa has worked with clients who have had Workman’s Comp approve their Whole Body Cryotherapy sessions.
Getting hurt on the job is NO FUN, and neither is consistent and nagging pain. Come in and see if Whole Body Cryotherapy can help you like it helps so many other clients here at the spa.
Whole Body Cryotherapy and how can it help with my injuries?
First of all, Whole Body Cryotherapy cannot “help” with the injury sustained in your accident, but it may be a pain relief solution that medications and therapy are not able to fully address. It’s an amazing option for inflammation. We’ve seen clients limp into the spa and literally skip out of the door. It’s a quick and easy treatment, and one that takes only three minutes.
How does Whole Body Cryotherapy help with pain relief?
Simply put, your body goes into a flight or fight response during the three minutes you are in the cryosauna. While this happens, your body starts increasing oxygen in your blood and creating extra nutrients. When you exit the cryosauna you experience an immediate endorphin release (like a “runner’s high). Those endorphins and extra oxygen and nutrients immediately target those spots causing pain, and you experience pain relief. Some clients have even experienced COMPLETE relief after just one session, while others may need to have two or three sessions. Not all clients may experience complete pain relief, but most clients state that their pain level has been greatly reduced.
How long does the pain relief last?
Every client is different, just as every type of pain a clients experiences is different. Some clients experience pain relief that lasts several days, and others may come in more frequently.
